The Perfect Escape - Pharoah's Tomb
This was a great Thanksgiving Day adventure, and I'm glad that we made this an activity for the day. The room was fun, had some good challenges for us, and flowed well from start to finish. We loved the puzzles and the decoration in the room.
Price:$$$$30 per person
Theme:★★★★This was neat and had some nice surprises inside. The decor was good, and the puzzles really made a good use of the theme.
Quality:★★★Most everything was in great order, although there were a couple of things that were a little finicky (we got special instructions for those). Although, there is one thing in there that didn't seem particularly safe, so be careful.
Difficulty:★★★★Very neat - a great mix of things you can do to keep moving along, mixed with some strategic puzzles.
Fun:★★★★We had a good time - we loved their other room, but this one is even better than the first.

Blue Ops Mission - Operation: Recon
Although Evan already had poker plans, I made may way out to an escape room to try a new location out. This was a neat experience, and I got to meet some new people along the way. The room itself was decorated to fit the story, and the puzzles for the most part went along well with the story. I think the hardest thing for us is that there weren't a lot of things to do at a time, so we spent some time with four people watching another do a puzzle.
Price:$$$23 per person
Theme:★★★Everything in the room feels like you are really a part of the story. Props are realistic, the scenario seems very real, and the puzzles blend well along with the story.
Quality:★★★Everything was put together well, and really fit with the theme of the room.
Difficulty:★★Mostly this was easy, but there were a few less clear areas where we spent more time.
Fun:★★Theme theme here was interesting enough, but it didn't lend itself to being super fun (strategic, though). We did like some of the puzzles, but overall these were thinking puzzles.

Breakout - Operation: Casino
This was another instance of finishing all the rooms at a location and it being a little bittersweet for me. This was, honestly, my least favorite theme for a room, but it was still fun given that I am a person that goes to Vegas and only goes to the casino to get outside faster. The puzzles were fun once we figured them out, and some were just fun anyways.
Price:$$$26 per person
Theme:★★★★This does a good job with the theme - a little bit of everything a casino might have.
Quality:★★★★Done well, and thing seemed to work great once we got our heads in the right place.
Difficulty:★★This is a little yes, and a little no. Yes because there were some fun things. No because I don't know the real rules to most casino games, which made it a little hard.
Fun:★★★I liked quite a few things about this room, but then there was the downside above that I don't love gambling so some parts not so much.

The Perfect Escape - O'Bannion's Safe
There are so many parts to this room, I don't know where to start. First, the decorations and props are great - even the door to the room adds to the design. We really had to pay attention to the clues along the way, and we did have a hard time figuring a few out because we were paying attention to the wrong things.
Price:$$$$30 per person
Theme:★★★★★There are such cool props and set pieces in here, and the story is well thought out. Each time we finished something, there was another surprise coming.
Quality:★★★★★Very nicely done and in great shape - love how well things worked.
Difficulty:★★★★Things really built on themselves over time - it started out very easy and then got more interesting and complex as we moved through.
Fun:★★★★At first, things seemed easy, but then they just got fun. Nice, creative puzzles and stories inside.

Breakout Arlington - Island Escape
We'd been feeling escape room deprived (don't know how, but it happened), so when they sent us a coupon code we decided to sign up for this one since we hadn't done it yet. Very glad we did - we got to meet a few folks who really brightened the experience for us (their Hawaiian shirts went perfectly with the theme).
Price:$$$22 per person (coupon was available)
Theme:★★★★This was well done, and there were some surprises in here for us along the way.
Quality:★★★★This was nicely put together, although a couple of items in the room could either be circumvented or weren't fully reset before we came in, so we jumped around a bit.
Difficulty:★★This was just so fun we didn't get caught up on a lot of things. Not to say there wasn't some thinking, but mostly things were quite intuitive.
Fun:★★★★Just wow - so many surprises to keep your eyes open for. This really got my adrenaline pumping a few times.

Breakout Arlington - Museum Heist
We booked this location as a part of their grand opening event, and it was our second time out here. Still a neat location and easy to find, and we like the energy of the staff. The room itself was fun and there were some neat things inside that kept us engaged - a few great surprises that were quite fun. The only downside is both times we've been here, the group we were meeting with was a bit late because they parked on the other side of the mall and had to walk quite a bit. However, this is not an issue if you park at the right entrance (it is right next to an upstairs entrance).
Price:$$$26 per person
Theme:★★★At first, we weren't so sure, but eventually it made a lot more sense to us.
Quality:★★Things were pretty good, but there were a few things that could use repairs, and one puzzle that we were unable to fully complete without assistance because it was broken. But as they were able to help us bypass, this didn't deter from completing the game.
Difficulty:★★★This was the perfect amount of thinking for a Saturday night - not too hard, and not too easy.
Fun:★★★We had fun and really enjoyed the group we were paired with.

Breakout Arlington - Kidnapping
The start to this room is similar to a couple of other rooms I've done, but it was a neat way to kick it off. There were some obvious and some less obvious things to solve in this room, but a variety of puzzles that each of us could contribute to. Also, some newly gained skills I have came in quite handy.
Price:$$$26 per person
Theme:★★★This was good, but also a little bland.
Quality:★★This was done pretty well, even though we missed some very obvious things and got out of order as a result.
Difficulty:★★A little easier than average, and with the number we had there were periods we sat down and did little.
Fun:★★★This was enjoyable, especially because of the birthday part the group we joined was having.
